Lawrence, a town of over 6,700 population, is one of the fastest growing municipalities in Wisconsin. Interstate 41 runs through the middle of our community and provides ready access to both Appleton to the south and Green Bay to the north. The beautiful and picturesque Fox River forms the Town’s eastern border. The Town is served by the highly regarded West De Pere School District and Hemlock Elementary School is located in the burgeoning northwest side of the community.

TRAFFIC ALERT: On Saturday, May 11, 2024, the Fox River Challenge will be hosting a Duathlon which will consist of a 5k run/walk, 15-mile bike ride, and 1-mile run.
The Duathlon will begin at approximately 8:05am and will travel through portions of Lawrence (see map). The roads will still be open to vehicular traffic during the race so please be aware of runners and cyclists.

Recently, the EPA adopted new national drinking water standards for six different PFAS chemicals that can be found in drinking water. The Water Authority, in partnership with Manitowoc Public Utilities, closely monitors water quality to ensure the public's safety.
