Administrator

The Town Administrator reports to the Town Board of Supervisors. This position exists to direct and coordinate the major management and operating activities of the Town of Lawrence general government including the Municipal Water Utility, Sewer Utility and Storm Water Utility.

The Town Administrator is responsible for managing the following:

  • Town’s Budget
  • Finance
  • Human Resources
  • Public Relations
  • Economic Development
  • Other management functions  

Patrick

Patrick Wetzel has served as the appointed Town Administrator since May 2017. He is a native of neighboring Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, and has extensive experience serving in local government. Patrick worked for 11 years in Finance with the Village of Ashwaubenon, served 5 1/2 years as an elected official on the Brown County Board of Supervisors, and was most recently the appointed City Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer for the City of Weyauwega, Wisconsin, where he worked for over 4 years before coming to the Town of Lawrence. He holds a Finance degree from UW-Green Bay and completed a Masters of Public Administration degree at UW-Oshkosh.
