Town of Lawrence Comprehensive Plan

The 2023 update to the Town Comprehensive Plan is completed.  This plan aims to shape a vision for the future of the Town of Lawrence and identify long-range goals and objectives related to community elements such as land use, transportation, utility infrastructure, economic development, quality of life, housing, parks, and more.  The Comprehensive Plan was developed over the past 10-12 months through ideas and feedback from the community, existing conditions analysis, and professional direction.  A Resident Advisory Committee was developed to assist in this process as well.

The Town chose the Brown County Planning Commission to help facilitate the planning process for the plan, which included several opportunities for community engagement.  These opportunities included online survey, visioning session public meeting, and an interactive map.
